Kindness counts.
Kindness is a cure for sadness, fear, anxiety, and loneliness. Often, the effects of kindness are felt far into the future.
That's why The Peter Fund created the Kindness Counts Award to recognize compassion, generosity, kindness, and sportsmanship, among young people.
Each year at graduation time, we make these Awards at a growing number of high schools. If your school would like to participate, please reach out.
Peter Bonn-Elchoness was a magnetic presence who made an impact in his 17 years. We started The Peter Fund to continue his legacy.
Peter brought fun and laughter with him wherever he went. He had a broad and easy smile. He was known as a good listener; the sort of friend who truly cares.
